Updated: Feb 13, 2019

Maastricht, NED – Nov. 12, 2017 – With only one day remaining to wait until Sorensen Stables’ debut THE HUNT, the first ever European Hunter Auction, the final details are in place to make for an unparalleled experience featuring a unique venue, fine dining and extraordinary horses. Both in-person guests and online viewers can prepare for THE HUNT, held this upcoming Monday, November 13, 2017, using the released schedule and evening details.

Sorensen Stables invites guests to partake in the excitement, heightened even further by the renowned names orchestrating the night’s activities. The infamous ringmaster himself, Pedro Cebulka is known as the colorful character leading riders to the ring at some of the most prestigious equestrian events in the world, but come Monday he will offer his large personality to THE HUNT as announcer. Andrew Nolan, the seasoned auctioneer for the world-renowned Goffs Orby Sale out of Ireland, will commit his quick-tongued talents to the auction of 15 elite hunter horses, curated from all corners of Europe by the Sorensen team.

Guests can anticipate to be wined and dined courtesy of Erik Stevens, a local caterer who is always searching for unique dishes. Stevens strives to create one-of-a-kind dishes which empower the purpose of every event and give the audience a taste of the Burgundian lifestyle. THE HUNT’s exclusive menu will feature an amuse-bouche of two hearty lollys, a winter-styled antipasti with wild boar coppa, duck rillette, pate and fresh figs, a cup of pumpkin soup with almond and spring onions, and a softly garnished bavette of beef in a stew with celeriac and crispy winter vegetables. Dessert will be offered in a preserving jar with a choice of panna cotta with cinnamon and stewed pear or chocolate mousse with mango and tiramisu.
